Lesson 15 - Downloading a Scenario Shapefile
THE "DOWNLOAD SCENARIO SHAPEFILE" TOOL ALLOWS YOU TO DOWNLOAD THE ORIGINAL UPLOADED SHAPEFILE WITH THE CURRENT PLACE TYPES AND PLACE TYPE PERCENTAGES MARKED IN PLACES. THE STEPS BELOW OUTLINE HOW TO DO THIS USING PLACES.
1. From the Project menu, click on the scenario you wish to download.
2. On the resulting Scenario Functions menu, click on "Download this Scenario Shapefile".
3. While the scenario is being exported, the page will continually reload until the export is complete.
4. Right click on the "Dowload" link and select "Save Target As..." to save the shapefile to your computer

5. A number of fields have been added to the shapefile:
  1. OPTYPE - The current marked place type for the parcel in Places.
  2. OPCTDEV - The current marked place type percent for the parcel in Places.
  3. RPTYPE - The redeveloped marked place type for the parcel in Places.
  4. RPCTDEV - The redeveloped marked place type percentage for the parcel in Places.
  5. RPCTCOV - The redeveloped marked place type percent coverage for the parcel in Places.
